About Us
The Prairie Dogs got their start in the 1970's during the heyday of District 37. We were mainly a desert club back then, and put on a Hare and Hound race in Stoddard Valley. But times change and as the desert got smaller, we branched out and have focused on our Grand Prix since the mid-nineties. We're proud to host our annual GP Event in March of each year at Glen Helen Raceway, where we hold the distinction of having exclusive use for our course, parts of the Regional Park that are otherwise closed to riding all year long.
