About Us
The Big Sandbar is the Long Island chapter of the AMCA. Our area extends from Montauk Point to Manhattan and Staten Island. Big Sandbar holds General Membership meetings at the Hauppauge Palace Diner 525 Smithtown Bypass Hauppauge, NY (New location) the second Tuesday of every odd month at 7 pm. Chapter events include a June National swap meet with Judging at Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck N.Y., Long Island rides and socials, private museum tours, Maryhaven charity activities, Christmas parties, camaraderie & a sharing of our knowledge & love of these antique machines.
